Udechee Huts is nested on a hillock facing the
Dhaualadhar snow glacier. There are numerous interesting
picnic spots, trekking routes and de lightful
walks. It is approximately 5 km from the township of
Mcleodganj and about 15 km from Dharamshala town. Horse
riding trips can be arranged. Approximate height 7000
ft. trekking to the lakes, ranges and passes in
Dhaualadhar and western Himalayas up to Manali, Leh,
chamba and bharmour is an added attraction to the
tourists who live the nature in proximity. special
arrangements for trekkers to triund, llaqua and
Inderhara Passes and some of the beautiful lakes
therein.
ACCESS:
Dharamsala can be approached by air from Delhi. The
nearest airport is at Gaggal, just 13 km away. Triweekly
flights from Delhi to Gaggal and 30 minutes drive to
Dharamshala from the airport. Pathankot the nearest
broad gauge railway station is 85 km away and the toy
train stations just 17 km at Kangra. Taxis Buses for
Dharamsala are available at both places. From Pathankot
the drive takes about three hours. Or you can drive from
Delhi (526 km) via Chandigarh, Kiratpur and Bilaspur.
this should take around 12 hours. From Delhi and Shimla
luxury buses play to Dharamsala.
CLIMATE:
In winter, the temperature can drop to freezing point
when heavy woollens are required. During summer, the
climate is mild and light woollens/cottons are
recommended.

live in independent cottage buit in traditional hill
